fantasies

The fantasies become integral part of the real life, helping us to grow as we imagine and associate our imaginations to the realities of life. We all grow imagining and dream all throughout the life and yet have a strong line of definition of what is real and what is not. Our dreams and imaginations secretly add spice to our private life, all of us hold on to such secrete imaginations.
When I was young I related several incidences to films, comics, cartoons and books. I had this strange desire to have a confrontation to some kind of adventure in life and then I would be prepared for the same and several times did I make up stories like these. I collected weird things that I thought would be useful in those times of difficulties. While doing all of these things, strangely I always knew that I do not really believe in it, but at the same time enjoyed doing it; amusing? Or is it similar to your story too?
What I really gaze about is, that when did this really stop. I do not really relate anything to fantasy anymore or is it just that our meaning of fantasy has changed and evolved as we have grown? But when did this change take place and what could be the factors responsible for it?
And yet sometimes even today, when we hear those favorite stories of childhood, they make complete sense and we all call them stupidity of some sort.
Do we all still have secrete fantasies? Have they have just vanished completely or are there small moments when they get back, if they do, then why do they come back? And do they ever help you in any way?
Can you help speculate this?

    Well ,
Hope and fantasies make people live life in whatever situation they are.
Fantasies stay throughout the life and they never vanish.
But during each period of my life I think we tend to change our fantasies according to priorities in my life.
In child hood I was linking fantasies with my surrounding like school, temple feast ,my cricket match etc. Now my fantasies are money/fame etc.
I think persons fantasies some times take him to pursue his hobbies too. Hobbies then become profession and remain for life time.
In short many flavours of emotions hate/passion/cruelty/love etc originate in fantasies of Humans, consciously or unconsciously.
Hence I would say world is shaped on the fantasies of man.

when we are small everyone wants to be a pilot or be in the army.how many of us really do it?big question.
our first dream - lead a peaceful lifestyle
2nd - to own a big house and have a beautiful wife
no where here do we know about Money
as we grow dreams change or lets say modify themselves.
3rd dream - to be doctor
4th - earn lots of money
5th - to study in the US
as innocence is lost and materialistic knowledge is gained we prevent our mind from think of innocent things like simply just leading a peaceful life
    6th dream - to do a MBA
7th dream - be at a commanding position always in your life
8th dream - to start your own company
    9th - to be a public figure
as we grow are dreams modify but the capability of making dreams come true also change
once we are old we look back and realise that leaving the last few dreams we have failed ourselves. the very basic one of leading a peaceful life is incomplete
the same according to me happens with fantasies
dreams are just mirrors of fantasies
we feel scared to fantasise what we once did or rather insecure
we all would still love to be those innocent children just frolicking around not worrying about stock market crashes, recessions, competition, and so on but our self respect or ego or maybe the society prevents us from thinking that way
still there are some very nostalgic moments which are triggered by some incidents or stories or happenings we usually run away from these so that we dnt have to answer ourselves.

hey prarthana i dnt kno if this will be useful or not but dats wat i feel
